We've passed the halfway point in the May Dovetail Fishing League season and following the results of Week 2 we've got some incredibly close scores in the season leaderboards.

Some new challengers emerged at the top of the Big Bass Tour leaderboards this week. DazzerB05 took the win at Lake Johnson which takes them to second place in the season standings. Third place for Sithlord5678 in week sees them leap to the top of the leaderboard. Our third place is shared between I AM BASSZILLA and FutureSpace1685 who holds on to their place from last week.

SithLord5678 was the victor in the Carp Championship on Grand Union Canal in week 2 putting them in to second place in the season leaderboards. A second place for mafioso filho helped them to keep the lead in teh season. Assassin8331 was our third place finisher and they jump up to third place in the leaderboard.

The win at Gigantica Main Lake went to Assassin8331 in the Match Series propelling them into the lead of the season standings as well. AlbertTrotter dropped out of the top 3 as Bigtimer J climbed to second and Flashcat moved up into third. There are just 20 points separating first from third at this stage of the season.

Bobcin3 was our winner in week 2 of the Predator Challenge at Lake Arnold, putting them up into second and closing the gap to Bigtimer J at the top. Third place now belongs to v NaTHaN 96.

Some great results in week 2 have given the overall lead in the global standings to SithLord5678. Bigtimer J now sits second after his results in week 1 and 2. Assassin8331 has joined them up in the top 3.

SMOKEYMON-G-313 made it two wins from two in the Big Bass Tour to extend their lead at the top of the leaderboard. PHILLY-BASS-1965 holds on to second place but he has stumain in third closing him down.

SMOKEYMON-G-313 now sits at the top of the Carp Championship leaderboard after a win in week 2 overtaking previous leader Johnnij87. Bobcin3 now joins them in the top 3 with a second place finish putting them above MLT24.

First place in the Match Series standings is now occupied by kartoffel6 following their win in week 2, a week which saw an unbelievable 5-way tie for second place! Last week's winner, MLT24 is now sat in second place just 3 points behind. They'll both be keeping an eye on the chasing pack though as only 22 points separate the top 5.

It doesn't get any closer in the Predator Challenge as we have a tie for the lead in the season standings. Ginger-Beard90's victory in week 2 has put them level with SMOKEYMON-G-313 at the top of the table. Stumain is just 5 points behind them in second place. MLT24 is not far behind and will be looking to get in the mix.

MilkinBad took his second consecutive win in the Big Bass Tour for May to extend their lead at the top of the standings. Djpablo73 is following them in second and KYA-Beast has moved up into third place pushing persudekimo out of the top 3.

A victory for BeasleyGreenwald in the Carp Championship moves them up into second in the standings and reduces the lead of MilkinBad at the top of the standings. They are joined by vert whose third place finish in week 2 has brought them up into the top 3.

The week 2 win in the Match Series went to vert, as they try to make up ground to the top. Facadedavid is our new leader in the season standings, leapfrogging MilkinBad at the top for a six point advantage at the top. Sly54nancy has moved clear of tyran87 as they now occupy third by themselves.

There was a new face at the top in weke 2 of the Predator Challenge with melissacook2015 coming out on top. Can they keep that up for a late season charge for the victory? They'll have tough competition as MilkinBad took a second place to extend their lead at the top. Tyran87 is now second place in the season standings with vert sat in third.

MilkinBad is still going strong at the top of the global leaderboard. Facadedavid holds onto second place and will be working to catch up to the leader in week 3. BeasleyGreenwald has joined them in the top 3 as he now sits third.

Everything is still to play for at the top as we move into the second half of the May Dovetail Fishing League season. With point tallies being so close in the standings. We're looking forward to what the rest of the season will bring.

Big Bass Tour: In the Big Bass Tour this week we're travelling over to Spain for a sunset tournament on Lago del mundo. There's a light cloud covering this week.

Carp Championship: Austria is our destination in the Carp Championship as Bergsee plays host. It's an early start with the tournament taking place at sunrise and you'll need your umbrella or raincoat for the heavy rain.

Match Series: We're off to Wisconsin for the Match Series with a night time tournament taking place at Lake Miller. There are light clouds forecast for this tournament as you try to catch the highest number of fish possible. Every species counts.

Predator Challenge: The Polish mountains beckon as we head to Jezioro Bestii for the Predator Challenge. It's a morning tournament with clear skies this week.
