Game update – Spirit of Steam, Rapid Transit, Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, Ruhr Sieg Nord, and more
Today, we are bringing you a sizeable update for Train Sim World 2, featuring some core game improvements necessary for Spirit of Steam: Liverpool Lime Street – Crewe’s release tomorrow (31st May), the long-awaited Preservation Crew improvements for Rapid Transit, Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, and Ruhr Sieg Nord, and some other miscellaneous fixes.
We’ve also added a cheeky Platinum Jubilee decal for you to enjoy plastering over your 8Fs and Jubilees to celebrate.
You can head here for the full list of updates (there are a lot!), but here are some headliners:
- Full Preservation Crew update for Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, including new skies, improved track rendering distance, and PIS
- Full Preservation Crew update for Ruhr Sieg Nord, including functioning level crossings, a new Dovetail Mastery reward, new skies, PIS, and Rush Hour passengers
- Full Preservation Crew update for Rapid Transit, including new PIS for the Talent 2, a new Dovetail Mastery reward, Rush Hour passengers, a PZB fix for the Talent 2, and an updated AFB system
- ‘Fast Lane’ scenario on London Commuter should now be completable on all platforms
- Clinchfield Railroad’s SD40 has been fitted with the horn from Sherman Hill’s SD40
- Service 775 on Harlem Line should now be completable by players
- Players should now be able to redownload uploaded content and resave it as editable
The update will download automatically for owners when it becomes available. Players should allow at least 24 hours after restarting Steam, EPIC Game Store, or their console for the update to appear and before contacting Customer Support.
