Bassmaster Fishing

BASS BULLETIN - DEC.16.2021

Ho Ho Ho Anglers,
Bassmaster Fishing 2022 was released worldwide on October 28th and you, the community have been playing, finding, catching and becoming Bassmaster Classic champions all over the world.
As we get to this time of year, we thought now would be a good time to look back at what’s happened so far and, like the ghost of Christmas Future, glimpse at what the plans are for the future!
The Story Since Launch
Since the launch on October 28th, the team have been working flat-out on improvements, whilst also working on our future plans for Bassmaster Fishing 2022 (which we’ll get to later).
Whilst it’s been a busy few months, one thing has been constant: you, our community, have been fantastic. As well as making us aware of niggles you’ve experienced, you’ve also provided some great suggestions for the game, and have shared your tips and tricks with fellow players.
Bassmaster Fishing 2022 is an ambitious project. It's been great to get all the feedback and suggestions from you, the players, to make sure we continue to create an authentic experience. Since launch we have released 4 updates, addressing as many of these issues and improvements as possible. This will continue into the new year, and beyond. If you have missed any of the updates and want to know what we’ve changed since launch you can read through the update notes here. Update 1, Update 2, Update 3 and Update 4.
We have also added Toledo Bend into the Online Public Servers and it's replaced Lake Hamilton on Bassmaster Royale. We will be continuing to add additional venues to both the Public Online Servers and to Bassmaster Royale over time.
The Future
We are just getting started with Bassmaster Fishing 2022 and you can expect, alongside continued updates and improvements , plenty of new content both in-game and in the store! We can’t go into too much detail right now - except to say we’re currently putting the finishing touches on something a little more predatory, and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store early next year.
Merry Bassmas!
If you missed it, we’ve launched a Bassmas Mastery Challenge – where you can get your hands on some festive goodies. Check this out for more information.
How you can help
As with all games out there, reviews really help fellow players understand what kind of experience they’ll be getting before they invest their time and money into it. You can review Bassmaster Fishing 2022 on Game Pass (or Xbox), Steam and, metacritic we’d really appreciate your honest, constructive reviews to help those players out. This helps us to both get the word out to the wider gaming community, but also understand where we can improve. We really appreciate it.
