Bassmaster® Fishing 2022 - Closed Alpha FAQ

How do I sign up for the Closed Alpha? You can sign up here via this link – Closed Alpha Sign Up Form
When does the Closed Alpha start? We will confirm the start date to all players who have signed up soon.
How long is the Closed Alpha going on for? We will confirm the end date of the Closed Alpha the same time we send out the start date.
How do I access the Discord? We have our community Discord up and running already, you can access that here. For the Closed Alpha we will have private channels, we will let you know how to access these once you receive your key.
Why is the Alpha not open all the time? We want to make sure the sessions we run are worthwhile, for both you and us. In order for us to properly test out functionalities like multiplayer, we want to make sure we have as many players playing at the same time as possible, so we can get live feedback and you can experience the game as we hope it will be enjoyed live. We will aim to have regular structured sessions, and we’re hoping to be able to have more free sessions as the Alpha progresses so you can enjoy the game at your own leisure.
Why am I being asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)? Signing an NDA is common practice for games companies providing players access to pre-public content. The Closed Alpha is a test-build, so is not for consumption by those not part of the Closed Alpha programme.
Why can’t I get into a game? The Closed Alpha takes part over set sessions at set times. Please refer to the email you’re sent with your key for the schedule.
Why is the frame rate locked? As we are in Alpha, the team must focus on specific areas of the game. For now, the frame rate is locked so the team can work on other parts of the game. This is not a reflection of the frame rate performance players can expect with the final game.
Will there be more content or modes in the Closed Alpha? During the Closed Alpha we may add or remove items, modes and more. This will change depending on the testing and the work that the development team are doing. We will be aiming for regular new builds, and if anything is updated that changes your gameplay experience, we’ll let you know through the Discord server and the invite email.
How do I give feedback? Surveys will be sent out to players and we also have a closed Discord channel for our Closed Alpha players for you to provide us with both live and retrospective feedback. This is really important for us, so please let us know how you get on when you’re playing, and we hope you can take the time to fill out the surveys and help shape future development of the game. Please refer to the email you are sent with your key for the Discord access.
