Sherman Hill And Northeast Corridor: Boston-Providence Improvements

Hello everyone,
To start off your week right we have an update that brings a range of core improvements as well as upgrading both Sherman Hill and Boston-Providence to TSW3 lighting and volumetric skies standards.
We have also shipped an improvement for pathing and AI behaviour aimed at reducing the amount of red-lights issues encountered by players. We have created a pathing / AI feedback thread for reporting any issues that may occur after this patch, whic you can find in our Technical Reports forum section.

Headliners

  • Sherman Hill route should now have lighting and skies consistent with upgraded TSW3 standards.
  • Boston–Providence route should now have lighting and skies consistent with upgraded TSW3 standards.
  • Improvements to Boston’s skyline illumination
  • Overhauled signalling behaviour across Boston-Providence
  • Series of AI pathing and behaviour improvements to reduce red light issues among all routes.
For a guide on the new Boston signalling changes, Brandon has made a wonderful full breakdown video, complete with a range of timestamps to dive right into!
And to showcase the new lighting improvements to both Boston-Providence and Sherman Hill, all these screenshots were taken directly from in-game!
