Train Sim World 6 Update Notes - July 9th 2026

Hello folks,
Our next update is almost ready and will be released tomorrow, July 9th, at 10 am BST. It’s a big one!
Unfortunately, the fixes for Niddertalbahn, Mittenwaldbahn, and the BR 194 & E94 railtour pack originally announced in our June Roadmap will be moved to a future patch. We apologise for any inconvenience. On a positive note, we were able to include many fixes for a variety of third-party content. The changes for Edinburgh – Glasgow and Fife Circle also include additional timetable services for both routes!Lastly, we have implemented some quality-of-life updates, addressed crashes that occurred under certain conditions, and made a minor fix to the MP36PH-3C Express Loco Add-On.

- Maintalbahn: Fixed AI BR 642 trains getting stuck with open doors

Two notes about intentional omissions from this timetable:
- LNER services north of Edinburgh require a Class 800 with a full diesel mode, which is not in TSW; the Class 801 cannot work these services as it only has an emergency diesel engine.
- The Class 158 is not used because adding it would remove gameplay from players who only own Fife Circle. Substitution with the Class 170 is not an option because the 158 has two carriages, and the 170 has three.
